Our showroom sits on Chatsworth Road in Walton, on the Chesterfield side of the Peaks, so the road out to Baslow, Chatsworth and Bakewell is one we know well. Many Peak District customers call in on the way into town; others would rather we come to them, and home visits to measure and plan are a regular part of our week.
Older Derbyshire properties bring their own puzzles — sloping ceilings, thick walls, awkward loft spaces. We plan around them, then supply the products and project manage every trade, so you have one point of contact from first drawing to final clean.

Peak District bathroom installation, managed start to finish
When you live out in the Peaks, you don’t want to chase separate plumbers, tilers and electricians up the valley. We handle the lot: our own project-managed teams of fitters, tilers, heating engineers, electricians and joiners arrive in order, so the job keeps moving.
On the Baslow loft bathroom, that meant working the shower niches and tiling around the roof line so the finished room felt built in, not squeezed in. Whatever the age or shape of your home, the room you approve on paper is the room we hand over.

What’s included
Design. We measure up, often on a home visit, and draw layouts that make the most of your room — whether that’s a long soak in a freestanding bath after a day on the hills, or a walk-in shower that’s easy to step into. You sign off the plan before anything is ordered.
Supply. Everything comes through us, so there’s no hunting for parts out in the Peaks. We source baths, sanitaryware, tiles, showers, enclosures, heating, storage and lighting from trusted British and European makers, including Victoria & Albert, Aqualisa, Burbidge, Dansani, Kudos and Tissino. Installation. Once the quote is agreed, we book in the fitting dates and our teams travel out to you, with one project manager keeping each trade on track until handover.
How it works
- Start at home or in the showroom. Many Peak District customers prefer a home visit first, so we can see the room, the ceiling heights and the access. Or call into our Chatsworth Road showroom next time you’re heading into Chesterfield.
- We design your bathroom. Our designers prepare options based on your space, style and budget. With our 3D Virtual World system, you see images of your actual room before any work begins.
- Choose your products. Pick from the showroom displays and tile department, or from samples we bring out to you, and select tiles, furniture, sanitaryware, bath, shower, taps and finishing details.
- Get your quotation. Once the design and products are agreed, we issue a formal quotation.
- We fit your new bathroom. Our experienced fitting teams install the room and we project manage the job end to end. Prefer your own fitter? We can supply materials and a fitting pack instead.

Do you fit bathrooms in the Peak District, Baslow and Bakewell area?
Yes. We fit bathrooms across the Peak District, including a recent loft bathroom in Baslow, and we travel out to Bakewell, Matlock, Hathersage, the Hope Valley and nearby villages. We can start with a home visit, then you’re welcome at the showroom whenever suits you.
Do you supply and fit, or fit only?
We provide a full design, supply and installation service using products from our showroom and warehouse. If you already have a trusted fitter, we can supply the materials and a fitting pack for them to complete the room.
How long does a bathroom installation take?
Times depend on the size of the room and how complex the work is. Much of the time goes into the preparation that keeps the room watertight for years. On average a bathroom takes 5 to 10 days, with larger projects needing a little longer for the Ultimate Bathrooms finish.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. We begin with a free, no-obligation consultation at the showroom or at your home. Once the design and products are agreed, we prepare a formal quotation.
Can I see products before I buy?
Yes. Our Chatsworth Road showroom has over 20 expertly designed displays of baths, showers, furniture and more. We’re open Tuesday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm, and Saturday, 10am to 4pm — handy to combine with a trip into Chesterfield.
Can you work with older or awkward rooms?
Yes. Many Peak District homes have sloping ceilings, loft rooms or thick stone walls. We design around them — as on our Baslow loft bathroom — and fit en suites, walk-in showers, wet rooms and downstairs WCs as well as family bathrooms.
